I live in Bruce Township where the water is very hard and have had another water treatment system for the past 10 years. The water was never as soft as I wanted and the hard water was hard on all the water fixtures and appliances. The prior company that installed my first system came out annually for maintenance, and also for several service calls, and I thought the water we were getting was the best we could hope for. I happened to stumble upon Wolverine Water Treatment online and decided to have them come out and test the water and make recommendations. Jason came out, provided a very informative presentation, tested the water and was confident that it could be treated properly resulting in great water. Jason knows his stuff and represented Wolverine real well. He worked up a proposal to tear out my old system consisting of an iron filter, a water softener, a large membrane filter, and RO filters, haul it away, and install a new iron filter, water softener, and RO system. I accepted the proposal and just a few days later the work was done promptly, efficiently, and professionally. Immediately the day after install we were enjoying really great feeling soft water, soap working better than ever, and superb RO drinking water. Now several days later, the water remains simply great. My only regret was not knowing about Wolverine Water Treatment 10 years ago when I had my first system installed. I give Wolverine my full endorsement and a perfect 5 stars.

First off, I hate leaving negative reviews. Not my thing to do. But when I receive disrespectful customer service and a demeaning attitude by a representative of a company, especially an alleged owner, I draw the line. Fortunately, it doesn't happen often. I own two businesses myself and would never dream of treating my customers in this manner. We "had" a Wolverine water conditioning system installed in our home by the previous owner. System is in excellent condition and never had any issues...until last week (3-04-26). Sprung a leak at the valve in front, which was just a small drip. Nothing severe. Contacted "Cy" at Wolverine Water System in Burton. "Cy" (alleged owner) was on the case. Waited almost a week for service, as they allegedly service different areas on different days of the week. No problem, initially. Technician came yesterday (3-09-2026) and tore it apart. The stainless-steel plate that separates the tank and manual timer was corroded, indicative of a leak over some time which would have progressively gotten worse. Glad I caught it when I did. The technician didn't have a new plate to install on his truck and wanted to reinstall it with it being corroded. I offered to let it soak in Evapo-rust for a short time, but ideally, it should have soaked for 4-6 hours and would have turned out brand new again. Technician was in a hurry so did my best to assist by scrubbing the plate as best I could. Not my job, but it's okay. I fix things the right way, not in a half-arse manner. Technician installed stainless steel plate and put everything back together. After he left, I noticed a huge puddle underneath my soft water tank and made a call around 7 in the evening. Apparently, this repair made my leak a thousand times worse. Got a hold of their answering service and left a message. Technician called me back immediately and had me text pictures and a video to show the "boss". So far so good. Excellent service! I'm assuming the boss's name is "Cy"? Anyway, the technician stated the boss would be calling me in the morning to more than likely, come back out today (3-10-2026). The next morning, no one called and I had to reach out. I should have been their very first call this morning when they opened. I was not. "Cy" got very demeaning and unprofessional with me and stated they would come back out next Monday, and I would have to pay another $97.50 service/trip fee. Wait, what? You didn't fix the leak and now it's leaking from a different location (indicating a bad repair) and your technician told me it sounds like it's pinched when I spoke with him yesterday evening and he stated it needs to be redone. Charge me again? You can't come back out in a reasonable time frame to fix your problematic repair the right way? Now you're going to charge me again? Sorry, you can talk and treat your other customers like that, but you will not pull those tactics with me. By the way, every time I have called this outfit in the last 9 years or so (hasn't been too many), the female staff is unfriendly and kind of rude. That says it all. I had replaced our Reverse Osmosis system that finally failed. And a side note, I was quoted $1,200 to replace the valve. Wait, what? A $1,200 valve? Never heard of that one. I can buy a whole new unit at that price, which I suspect is their sales angle. I happily have a competitor coming out this Thursday to install an entirely brand-new system. Pretty quick turnaround time compared to waiting another week to having the repair done satisfactorily! And "Cy", do not contact me again whether by phone, text, or email. Shame on you for treating me the way you did. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT RECOMMEND! 03-11-2026 REPLY: This is not a question about the age of the equipment. This is a review concerning how "Cy", your Service Manager, addressed your customer. You are not entitled to keep a service charge by not properly repairing the issue, then charge me again? I filed a dispute with my bank and informed you of that action. The issue was repairable and you should have addressed this from the get go.

Nothing but great things to say about Wolverine Water! From the initial discussion with Jason and him walking us through our water issues to the installation. Everything went smooth and we couldn’t be happier with our water. We noticed an immediate change once we had our system installed. The guys did a great job and our set up looks even better than before and they left no mess. Would recommend this company to anyone looking to improve their water quality. They provide the best customer service. Thank you Jason!

The team from Wolverine was extremely responsive from the initial consultation, to figuring out how to install the appropriate system and the actual install. Very polite installers even cleaning up the work area, and spending time to educate myself on the system operating/maintenance needs
